The College for Creative Studies will host a Toyota Lecture on Design by philosopher, mechanic, and best-selling author of Shop Class as Soulcraft, Matthew Crawford on Tuesday, October 13 at 6 p.m.
Ann Arbor Mini-Maker Faire
The Mini-Maker Faire in Ann Arbor was “a big success!,” according to one of the organizers, Dale Grover. He added that “there were between 1,200 and 1,400 visitors, about 28 exhibitors, and everyone seemed to have a great time, visitors and exhibitors alike.” This event was one of the first self-organized mini-Maker Faires in the country.
